Parrot Parrot

This is my most favorite creation. It is from a square paper and very simple to fold. With little help any body can fold it in less than 5 minutes, yet it has elegant look.

I was attracted to origami because of its simplicity. Although complex models astonish us, not everyone can enjoy folding them. Hence I was always dreamed of creating such a model. Another special thing about this parrot is that it has an option of color change. In two-three extra steps you can have red beak and most of the other body parts green. (Provided you procure special origami paper with red-green sides)

I am in the process of publishing diagrams in a popular magazine. I have created 10 models but not yet published any of them. (So with your blessings I hope

they will be available soon).

Such a simple and awesome looking model. Congratulations Milind!

Hey, would you do us a favor. The thing is this is a blog, so we really appreciate learning more about your model and not just see a photo. This is important. So would you please edit your entry and include content? Just let us know what you like about your model and what you think we should know about it : )

    Thanks in advance!
